Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: August 11, 2026

TermitePlan is a free resource. To keep it free, some of our pages contain affiliate links. This page explains what that means, which programs we take part in, and how we make sure affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend.

What An Affiliate Link Is

An affiliate link is a special link that lets a retailer know a visitor arrived from TermitePlan. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price you would have paid otherwise.

We mark affiliate links where they appear, using a simple label such as “(paid link)” so you always know when a link may earn us a commission.

Amazon Associates

TermitePlan may participate in the Amazon Associates Program. If we are approved and use Amazon affiliate links, we may earn from qualifying purchases made through those links at no additional cost to you.

When Amazon affiliate links are active, this page will include the Amazon Associates disclosure required by Amazon’s Operating Agreement.

Awin and DoMyOwn

TermitePlan may participate in the Awin affiliate network. Through Awin, we may link to specialist retailers such as DoMyOwn, which sells professional-grade termite treatment products, bait stations, and related supplies. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Professional Referrals

Some pages may link to services that help you find or contact a licensed termite professional. Where such a link may earn us a referral fee, we disclose it in the same way as any other affiliate link. As with products, we only suggest professional help when the situation genuinely calls for it.

Our Promise On Recommendations

Affiliate commissions never determine our recommendations.

In many termite situations, the most useful next step is not buying a product at all. It may be confirming what you have found, monitoring the situation, or calling a licensed termite professional. We say so plainly on those pages, even though it earns us nothing.

We include product links only where a product genuinely fits the decision path and the safety context of the page. If DIY is not appropriate for a situation, we will say so, regardless of whether a product link is available.

You can read more about how we compare options on our Methodology page.

Prices And Availability

Prices, availability, product labels, and retailer information can change at any time. Any price or availability shown on TermitePlan is for general guidance only and may be out of date by the time you read it. Always check the current price, product details, and label information on the retailer’s own page before buying.
