How They Actually Differ
The clearest way to think about it is access, not strength. Both forms can carry the same class of active ingredient; what changes is where that ingredient can physically go.
- Liquid treats a zone. Poured or trenched into soil, it establishes a treated band that termites encounter as they move between the soil and the structure. Its whole job is coverage of ground you can access.
- Foam treats a space. Injected into a void or gallery, it expands to fill the cavity, contacts surfaces a liquid would run straight off, then collapses and leaves residue on those surfaces. Its whole job is reaching enclosed spots.

Liquid fits when:

- there are wells, drains, ponds, or cisterns nearby;
